A Hummingbird Christmas
Hey there! I hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying the warmer weather. I was in Orlando in July to meet with my Tule editors, and to celebrate the completion of my second Tule book, tentatively entitled A Hummingbird Christmas. The book is set in Glacier Creek, Montana, home of the Firefighters of Montana heroes, and introduces veteran smoke jumper Cole Tanner. I love this book so much, and I can’t wait to share it with my readers! For a sneak peek at the inspiration behind the setting and the characters, head over to my Pinterest page. The image on the right isn’t the official cover, but I wanted something to hand out to readers, so created this fun little business card. Stay tuned for the official cover reveal from the fabulous Tule art department in the next month or so!
Orlando was a ton of fun, especially since I travelled with my bestie, Cathryn Parry, who writes emotional romances for Harlequin Super Romance, and Harlequin Heartwarming. We grew up together in the same small New England town (we were even born in the same hospital, during the same week), so traveling with her is always fun.
We are doing a multi-author book signing on Saturday, August 26th at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Leominster, Massachusetts, from noon until 4 pm. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by!
This trip, however, took the steam out of us! Orlando in July is…well, it’s pretty miserable! The combined heat and humidity made being outdoors oppressive, but we made the most of it by visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Here we are, in Diagon Alley! The trip ended far too soon, but it was wonderful to see my editors, to talk books and plots, and future projects.
Be sure to come back for updates on when the Christmas book will be released, as well as more exciting news about upcoming books!
